The Monday Club

The Monday Club is a group for people with learning difficulties that offers a variety of activities led by professional instructors in art, drama and music therapy, as well as "Stretch-and-Exercise" and sing-a-longs. The club meets every Monday night  from 7.30 until 9.30pm. Costs are 30p per session which also includes the 'best tea' in London for 30p!

The Monday Club was started in the spring of 1972 by the Jewish Welfare Board, as a meeting place for Jewish  people with learning disabilities. Over the years, the club has evolved and is now much more structured with weekly sessions led by professional instructors. It  is now open to people of all denominations with learning disabilities.
