Bayis Sheli is a sanctuary, a ray of hope, a home away from home for children with special needs.
Some years ago a few parents of severely disabled children met to discuss a wishful fantasy. They dreamed of a residential home here in the UK for all our children whose extensive needs mean they are unable to live at home. With passion, perseverance and the supernatural power of parental love they began the lengthy journey to turn their dream into reality
Bayis Sheli, otherwise known as 'my home' provides a bespoke response to a desperate need for respite and long term care for children with a range of disabilities and learning difficulties. The £6.9 million, purpose built facility is located in a secluded setting in North London and boasts 16 private bedrooms in 4 separate wings all fitted with cutting edge technology and equipment to reduce the daily struggles that children with special needs face.
Each day in Bayis Sheli is an exciting adventure where children can finally live in an environment specifically tailored to their requirements. They are pampered and cared for by a comprehensive team of qualified carers who are equipped and ready to support each child with their individual needs.
Bayis Sheli has been warmly welcomed and has benefitted from wide support and generosity from individuals and trusts across the UK including the Maurice Wohl Charitable Trust for whom our campus has been named.
