We need your help to shape learning disability services for the future

As you may see in this week’s press, Kisharon, Langdon and Norwood have started working on a joint initiative to scope and map needs and demands for learning disability services across the community currently and over the next 15-20+ years. The collective belief is that joined-up thinking and working, if and where appropriate, has the potential to achieve improved outcomes for people we support with learning disabilities across the community.

We have just commenced qualitative research as part of the scoping and mapping of learning disability services. We have jointly commissioned Cordis Bright, an independent specialist research organisation to deliver this research (see: for more information).

We would be grateful to hear from you if you are able to help us with this research. Please contact if you can help us by expressing your views/ ideas on future provision for people with learning disabilities. We would also be grateful if you could let us know whether your child or the person you care for (and/or their siblings) would like to take part in a focus group too.

We very much hope you can participate in this ground-breaking work.

Thank you - Kisharon, Langdon and Norwood
