Resources for Autism New Group for Mothers and Step-Mothers Who Have Autism

23.07.2019

Are you a mum or step mum who has a diagnosis of autism? We are looking at starting a new group just for you.

After the success of our previous women’s groups, we are running the last group;  this time aimed at mothers who are on the spectrum. This will be an 8 week course with the aim of increasing your own understanding of autism and how it may impact being a mother and parenting a child.

The course will aim to provide strategies and self-help to those in similar circumstances whilst connecting you with other mothers with autism.

Please note that this is not a parenting group. This is a safe space to share and support one another facilitated by autism trained workers.

If you are interested in this group, or know someone who might be, please get in touch with charlotte@resourcesforautism.org.uk or call 0208 458 3259 and ask for Charlotte for more information.
