The Way I See It

The Way I See It: Children and Young People’s Creativity in the time of Covid-19

Arts Council England is partnering with Google Arts & Culture to create a new online collection to showcase, celebrate, and archive the extraordinary and powerful work produced by children and young people in response to Covid-19.

Heart n Soul is delighted to be one of the partners on the project.

The collection will bring together a wide range of art created by children and young people since lockdown began and over the summer holidays. The aim is to showcase their experience of the pandemic and of lockdown, in their own voices and as they see it.

Throughout the summer we will be creating a wide range of art through Digital Do Your Own Thing - our creative arts programme for young people with learning disabilities aged 10-25.

However we also want you to get involved. If you are 25 years old and under, we want you to share your artwork with us, capturing your thoughts and experiences of the pandemic and lockdown which could also be included in the project.

It can be any type of artform you like: a piece of art or music, photos, videos, audio or something written like spoken word poetry or a story.

The deadline for submissions is Tuesday 1 September.

For further information about the project or how to submit your artwork, contact us:
