Positive Behaviour Support Training for parents/carers

*New* Drop-in sessions

Our new drop in sessions provide an opportunity for you to meet other parents and carers and talk about a particular topic related to children and adults with learning disabilities and/or autism. All sessions are co-facilitated by another parent or carer.

1. Applicants must live in the boroughs of Barking & Dagenham, Havering, Redbridge, Tower Hamlets, City & Hackney, Newham or Waltham Forest, or support someone who lives there.
2. Applicants must support someone with learning disabilities and/or autism, of any age.  This support could be as a parent, family member, fosterer or carer.

In each informal session there is a mix of:

  • a short presentation about some key ideas on that session's topic
  • a small group discussion about how these ideas might work in practice
