London - Child's Hill Library

Two events are taking place at Childs Hill Library to celebrate Barnet Libraries' Festival. On Sunday October 22, Peter Leanse will talk about the role of art in coping with mental health problems and learning disabilities, and there will be an arts and crafts workshop at half term, Thursday October 26, from 11.15-12.15 for 3-6 year olds and from 2.30-3.30 for those aged 5 years and above.

Duration: 09.00 onwards (open to the general public from 10.00)
Tickets: Advanced booking is essential as places are limited. Please call 020 7565 7298 to book your place now. Children and young people under 18 go free; adults charged general admission rate.

For family visitors with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), we are opening early on two special days. Enjoy the Museum at a quieter time, free from the general public. Explore our All Aboard family spaces in peace, take part in our craft activities and make use of our new Sensory Bags to help you explore the collection. Many of the sounds in the Museum are switched off, making it a peaceful place to visit.
